We are Here!

Joy and I are excited to present tomorrow at the American Dental Education Association's Third Annual International Women Leadership Conference in Montreal. We have looked at the conference itinerary and feel confident that we will return will some valuable strategies and tools to empower our students and our research.

On that same note, we are excited to participate in providing substantial content in the area of mentoring undergraduate research to our colleagues and peers attending the conference. As part of our initial post, we wanted to list some of the resource sites that we discussed at the conference that cite funding opportunities, and blogs and wikis that offer dialogue on topics of research.

This is just the beginning, we will post again soon on the research that is of interest to us and how we plan to conceive of developing the project phases, methods and funding. So, come back and contribute as we start this new foray into collaborative research using emergent technologies!

Comments:
I am so excited for the two of you, I cannot think of any better people to represent in a women’s leadership conference, you are both amazing women and role models, good luck!

Good for you! I miss hanging out with you and Joy and all the girls.

My Precious is doing well and so am I. I am working for a great dentist two days a week, so the Precious is no longer in danger (as if I would ever get rid of her!)

I'm glad that you're continuing blogging for the students. If you ever need my help, let me know. Being a blog mistress is very fun.

We need to get together sometime and have a "Phantom" party or something. Tell Joy her house was great for the Christmas party. Maybe we could have a "Favorite class" reunion.

It was so good to hear from you! Take care and I'm sure we'll be talking again soon.

So... how did it go? I can only imagine that you knocked their socks off!

I didn't realize you had four different blogs! Time to update my Bloglines.
